Before Louise - my sister, better known as Babybutter - went back to University for her final semester before graduation, we set aside a day to spend together, just the two of us. We used to do this all the time before she started Uni and before I moved away: wake up slowly, eat a little breakfast, hop in my car and eat good food or explore somewhere. We’d put the world to rights, shoot blog photos and dream about the future. You know, all that regular stuff.

This time, our sister date day took us to London, just a 20-minute train journey away from home. No set-in-stone plans, just us, a camera and a chilly England day. We ambled through the dreamily tinted pastel townhouses of Notting Hill, made a beeline for the Nordic Bakery for insanely good cinnamon buns (you MUST try one!) and sauntered through shops, dizzy on laughter and Dad jokes.

The Victoria is one of the newer pieces that I’ve added to my online shop, Honey + Chai. Made from cotton seersucker fabric, it sits just off the left shoulder with these beautiful fluted sleeves. It’s just a dream, so regal and poised yet deliciously wearable. I’m working on a range of accessories and hand-finished clothing to launch soon - would love it if you headed over to the site for a browse and shop, and don’t forget to sign up to the newsletter for exclusive discounts and news about new launches and events ;)

My adorable backpack is the infamous Anello one from Japan! It was one of my early Christmas presents from Harvey and I'm absolutely besotted with it. We spotted them everywhere in Asia and he ended up buying one for me from Hong Kong. Perfect size for everyday adventures - I had my DSLR, Fujifilm Instax Mini 8, gloves, purse and charger in here on this day! Love.

Louise is back at University now and I’m already missing the company of my favourite miniature butler. How do you spend days with your siblings? Do you have any lovely routines and rituals?
