What’s the time, Mr Wolf?

一. I suppose a highlight of this week has been the launch of my shop, Honey + Chai! Let me tell you, it feels incredible to finally be sharing the debut range with you. Alongside my usual work tasks, this has been on the backburner for more than a year(!!) Each piece is cherry-picked for a particular reason of its own and each piece is ethically made and independently designed. I can’t wait to pack up your orders! Please enjoy 10% off your shop with the code DAISY10, too!

二. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to a bonfire and Halloween event at a local farm in Ardeley. We went along with his family and spent all of an hour there before retreating to a pub for a drink and going home for a takeaway! Loved the bonfire vibes but organisation was not at its best, to say the least ;) I’ve never celebrated bonfire night with a bonfire and nor had I ever done the whole pumpkin patch thing! Totally doing that again.

三. After a complete whirlwind of a weekend, it feels pretty good for the clocks to have gone back and to be enjoying my evening at 7.08pm. It feels so much later! I absolutely love the cosy darkness and obligatory chill that comes with the clocks going back. It’s probably high on my list of things I adore about autumn and that I missed when living abroad. We spent today lazily making breakfast, cuddling with pooch and picking up holiday essentials, before settling in with an episode of Dragon Ball Super and heading for a Sunday snooze. The best.

四. A somewhat odd inclusion to this week’s Sundaze but how good is New Look right now?! I don’t think I’ve actively shopped in New Look since my University days, but I’ve been after some knitwear to boost my wardrobe and I didn’t want to spend too much as I’m away for almost a month of the autumn. Picked up this ridiculously good-value jumper (£9.99!! I wore it in this Instagram!) and this adorable cold-shoulder knit. Can’t stop wearing them.

五. Last but not least (I’ve been occupied with work!), a highlight of my week has been Lush baths! I’ve been sleeping terribly this week - think 2.30am bedtimes and waking myself up at 5am - so I indulged in a Lush Never Mind The Ballistic bath and a The Comforter bath. 10/10, would recommend. Take some coffee. Take a book. Prop Netflix up. Yassss.

Links I’ve Loved:

  • I’m such an LFB fangirl at this stage, it’s not even funny. Rae delivers another amazing twist on the traditional outfit post with Naked As We Come, a (clothed!) deeper and more heartfelt take on outfits. Her Anatomy of an Outfit posts feature beautifully bohemian and quirky outfits along with brilliantly well-thought think pieces. Incredible. Also! Be sure to enter her latest giveaway for a gorgeous Wild Tussah handbag, right here!
  • Let me introduce you to the Elsie, one of my favourite pieces from Honey + Chai. It’s an oversized, slightly cropped, embroidered denim jacket and it’s bloody beautiful. I’ve been wearing the sample around and just can’t get enough! Shop it here.
  • Sophie’s post about a Lush product trio for hands has me dying to hotfoot it to a Lush store ASAP. And just look at her beautiful photography! Can the girl do any wrong?!
