We're on to a winner - two outfit posts in a week AND a Taylor Swift reference. BOOM! Writing this post as I'm cosied up on my sofa with a hot chocolate looking out to the glittering cityscape feels so surreal. I'm certainly a water baby. Does anyone else really struggle with dressing for the beach? I think it's the British-ness in me. It's pretty much instilled in us to wear layers to the beach that you can remove or add depending on the... weather. Gawd. Sorry, I tried not to talk about the W word.
At the very end of February, Sophia and I took a day break to Repulse Bay with a food pitstop at Stanley. The weather is starting to heat up a little yet all remains muggy and overcast so we hopped on the bus in Central, et voila, 20 minutes later and we're on the beach. Repulse Bay beach is just so pretty, surrounded by villas, wishing statues, soft sand and insanely clear water. I'm in love. I opted for my pineapple print shorts paired with my Milk tee and swung on this maxi cardigan. Been searching for the perfect maxi cardigan and this comes close but it isn't quite my Olsen number of dreams. Also have a severe lack of flip-flops and sandals in my life (I guess I'm not completely adapted to HK life yet!) so I cracked out my new Nike Free Run 5.0's. Saltwater air and a few hours unplugged, you can't beat it.
