I’m not going to lie – the name of this dessert parlour and café hybrid isn’t exactly what drew me to eat here. Following dinner on a Thursday night, a friend and I decided to get dessert because why the hell not, and apparently this was a good spot. Queues are the main marksman of how good a foodie place is.

Seated at a wooden bench – ideal Instagram backdrop material – I picked their crème brulee to satisfy a craving I’d had for weeks, while my friend chose a soufflé that was bigger than his face. Guys, there’s nothing sweeter than extremely Instagrammable crème brulee with vanilla pod ice cream. And my friend swears his ginger soufflé was the best ever.

Fairly affordable with nice staff and surroundings, and a super extensive menu, Beans is a cute little place for friends or couples alike, if you’re ever in the area.
