Photos sneaked from my phone - ooer!
... Somehow, it is August. I've just been in Brighton for a long weekend and my best friend hilariously shouted: "Pinch punch, first of the month!" at me yesterday before he realised his mistake! But yes, the eighth month is upon us, marking the slow wind-down of our summer in England. A few weeks ago I wrote on here that I wanted to become less complacent and begin to enjoy all the little things again and right now - as I sit cross-legged in my bedroom listening to SNSD - I feel that I've reached that again.

My summer thus far has been darn good. BBQs, lazy lunchtimes in the blazing sun, beach soirees with blogging ladies, open air cinema date nights, lake strolls in the evening, reminiscing with best friends, celebrating engagements, going to my first ever festival, celebrating Pride with my GBFF with a festival, street party and beach party... I'm feeling super lucky and extremely grateful at the moment. Historically I have awful summers, but 2014? You are pretty darn nice.

  13. I agree I think summer 2014 has and will be one of the best summers of my life so far and pretty much simply because I have forced myself to go out and have fun rather than lazing around every single day.
