Cupid? Island tank top, c/o Wildfox; Pink jacquard skirt, River Island; Heart print wedge sandals, Topshop; Printed cigarette jeans, 7 For All Mankind; Cut-out boots, New Look; Topshop bag.
For me, Wildfox epitomises carefree, romantic, Californian inspired summer dressing. I’ve coveted their beach sweatshirts ever since I spied my gal Taylor Swift in one and of course I jumped at the chance to briefly become a WIldfox girl this summer!

This vest from their summer collection is SO soft and swingy. I think it’s the only one I own with a higher neck cut that gives it an adorable 90’s feel. Looove. The slogan is fun and quirky, although not to my personal tastes as I hardly curse let alone associate my clothing with such phrases, but hey ho, I’ll take it in my stride. I’m a grown-up, eh.

Much like my current personal life, I couldn’t decide between two options. I could style this vest super girly with my faithful River Island skirt that creases like a b!tch (especially when you’re puppy sitting) and my Topshop sandals. Or I could go the other way with white patterned jeans, my cut-out pointed toe heeled boots and a hefty bag. Angel vs. devil. The right choice vs. the one that you want.

  8. Ah, that's a lovely memory to hold dear.

Mine would definitely be the birth of my child. It may well sound cliché, yes, but words can honestly not express the love, care, and affection I have for him. If n outsider were to look in to the memory it would probably have flaws on many levels, but for me it was a perfect moment.

  13. Oh no, so horrible to hear! We had a pretty good experience with really attentive service and the food didn't take long at all - perhaps they worked to improve after last year! x

  18. Oh Kylie! I'm more of a separates girl but can't resist a simple dress at the moment - the heat means even dressing needs too much brainpower. Hope you're well lovely!

  19. Thanks for the comment! I definitely agree with you, it's tough to feel content when there's such pressure to always be on the ball and constantly trying.

  20. Thanks Miho! That's so interesting to read, I often worry about feeling like that in the future so I'm choosing a little more of a 'live in the moment' mantra at the moment (:

  22. Absolutely. I'm getting more into avoiding social media for X-hours in the week and it's completely transformed the way I think. I don't work in social media (anymore) either and it has made me re-prioritise a lot.

  26. Thanks for your lovely comment Hanh! I felt like that for a long time last year but I'm finally feeling good about where I am and where I'm maybe headed. Change is good but it's also good to have perspective about things and feel content about where you are right now (:

  45. I love your kicks! I use the Nike + app, I think I'll download the water your body one. The running app I always talk about is the couch to 5k one, it literally got me from the couch to running 30 mins non-stop!

  46. Thanks Jane, I LOVE the Nike Running app. Think I'll download the Couch to 5k one right now! One of my goals for the summer is to be able to run 5k non-stop.
