Here I am blogging about something I wore on the 1st of the month... I'm feeling slightly out of whack with my posting, but bear with me, I'm up to date after this snippet.

Mint green coat, Sammydress.co.uk; Cashmere blend grey jumper, Miss Selfridge; Straight leg mid wash jeans, Miss Selfridge; Glitter toecap ballerinas, Zara; Necklace, A birthday present; Mulberry Alexa in Petticoat White.

---

I popped into London with Louise, Winnie, Zoe and Mandy - also Kristabel briefly! - a few weekends ago for a day of girly shopping, catching up and laughs alongside a minature birthday celebration. We had big plans for some shopping damage (see here) and with that in mind I went all out for comfort.

My mint green coat serves so well for creating a statement look. It's mint green with a slight neon hue to it and I can't stop wearing it all the time. It certainly turns heads whilst the world is gripped with black coats and the old sprinkle of pink from AW13 past.

Underneath I'm wearing a really-really-old cashmere blend jumper from Miss Selfridge. My oh my is this an overworn choice. It keeps me warm but the boxy T-shirt cut keeps it classic and chic. And of course with that goes my even-more-old Miss Selfridge jeans. I've worn these to the point where the threading on the side seam by my bum is completely tarnished. But I rolled up the hems, slipped on my Zara flats and my Mulberry Alexa (that I recently fell back in love with) and was good to go. Easily one of my favourite outfits this year. Pow.

  8. I love my mint green coat too (99% sure we have the same one!), it's beautiful :) My favourite colour too! Do you find the collar on one side always flips over? I've put a brooch on mine to stop it from doing it as it was getting annoying!
    You look lovely :) xx

    1. I think we must do, although I haven't seen a snap of yours yet. Mine seems to be fine, but I've somehow managed to make a hole in the pocket lining so my loose change and car keys are constantly 'missing', haha! Thanks Sophie! x

  10. You look lovely, Michelle! I'm not even a big wearer of pastels but this is making me want a mint green coat, haha. I hardly even noticed that your other clothes were old favourites, since the coat still keeps things fresh!

  11. CUTE! Honestly, that coat is adorable. I bet the colour really is a breath of fresh air up there - I remember walking around the town centre in winter and pretty much everyone was wearing black or grey!
