Alrighty, it's Friday and time to share another few pages of my Moroccan holiday scrapbook on the blog. So we got a little snap happy, nothing wrong with that, right? It’s safe to say that I’ve got a serious case of wanderlust right now and I most certainly left my heart in the Medina back in Essaouira…

We started Sunday with clear skies and beautifully vibrant colours just downstairs from our riad. Our surroundings had already become commonplace to us girls and we decided to pop to the local bakery to stock up on breakfast and goods alongside another wander of the Medina. Those amazing colours and artisan work just captures my heart every time.

Our Sunday was largely spent at a Berber market, at which we didn’t manage to snap many photos. Let’s file that under a life-changing experience and certainly memorable for us all! Our guide kindly took us to an Argan Oil women’s co-operative too which was simply fascinating. More on this later for you beauty enthusiasts! We soon returned to our riad for a freshen-up and to shoot outfit photos together. You can see one set that I posted here on Thursday!

Elodie and I then popped off for our Hammam spa which was truly relaxing and refreshing after an initial shock! I can easily say that was the most thorough spa experience I’ve ever had; if you ever have the chance to go for an authentic Moroccan Hammam - do it!

Another walk through the souks with the girls later, we decided on a local restaurant for more tagine followed by a sneaky cocktail ‘bar’ visit for a long chinwag that covered every single topic possible. Lovely! One more photo scrapbook is a'coming, alongside a beauty installment, food chat, apartment tour and vlog - whew! x
