The week between Christmas and a New Year is always an odd one for me. Like, it’s that strange No Man’s Land of the year. We’re basically done with 2013 yet it’s the 'gift' that keeps giving. Today I’ve been running errands, battling my cold (cruel of ya, holiday season) and reacquainting myself with Viki. All relatively simple and mundane tasks. 2014, lemme atcha’.

My rag & bone jeans are out to play today, I’m trying to work that NYC aesthetic and teamed them with my cut-out ankle boots but I’ll leave it up to you guys to determine if I got the balance right. Jeans and a casual beyond casual knitted tee are good friends for I-don’t-know-if-I’m-ready-for-life-yet days. I'm also debuting my new handbag that was a Christmas gift from my brother this year. It's a perfectly standard Topshop number but he spent weeks making a cushioned, adjustable divider section inside so it'll house my DSLR, 3DS XL and any lens that I hoist with me! So thoughtful -- kudos to ye, little bro.

How were your Christmases, by the by, ladies? I hope you all had restful and love-filled ones! Mine was a perfect few days -- I went for a girly gossip and steak night with one of my best friends, Sharon, on Monday; a dim sum lunch with my family followed by an annual Christmas Eve walk with my nearly-favourite boy, an entire day and a half with my immediate family, and a second Christmas evening with my best cousins, and yesterday was K-pop filled, rounded off with a third Christmas and a beyond cold walk. (:

  1. I forget how much I love your coat! And the handbag is already gorgeous and it's so lovely that your brother thought to make the divider, much more creative than anything my brother would manage!
Myself, I had a wonderful Christmas- extremely love filled by previous standards! And I'm glad you enjoyed your perfect few days, sounds like a lot of fun :)

But on the upside, that coat is gorgeous, the scalloped edges are so cute, I've never seen a coat do that well before either, but I love this one!
