Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?

Considering my Christmas enthusiast ways, I’ve never been much of a novelty jumper girl. I’m a huge fan of Christmas pyjamas and then getting into a princess-esque dress for the remainder of the big day, but knits emblazoned with festive critters? I’ve never been there.

This year, I’m in possession of two Christmas jumpers, courtesy of F&F. They only get a couple of wears per year so I’d have no qualms with parting with a mere £18 for one of these. The team kindly sent over two variations for me to style up and I enlisted the help of my sister (the girl behind the camera lens!) to show how we’ll be spending every weekend in the lead up to the big 2-5.

---

I’m styling my red reindeer jumper (available here) with a Jacquard leather look skirt. It’s a body con number which I thought would balance out the more boxy shape of the jumper. Is it just me who assumes novelty knits will have a shapeless fit? I’m pleasantly surprised by how soft and gently fitted this one is! I teamed it with a little heart lock pendant that was gifted to me for my birthday a few months ago, and my new slipper booties.

Louise wore her grey winter scene jumper with leather look leggings. You see the theme we went with here? They’re the perfect tough element to the outfit, with such a snuggly soft jumper. We both loved the snowflake elbow patch detail as well, even though that trend’s supposed to be dead and gone now. (We totally missed the memo.) Louise also wears the hedgehog slippers - so cute!

Where will you be picking up your Christmas jumper from this year? Let us know how you’ll style up yours, and be sure to stay tuned for more sister style posts!

  7. I love Louise's slippers, they are so cute! I really love Christmas jumpers - I have one from last year, but I've ordered a snow flake/fair isle one from ebay and I plan to have a rummage for a really cheesy one in Primark too! It seems I can't get enough.
I didn't know elbow patches were a thing of the past now - I still love 'em! xx

  8. Lovely photos! I'm so not a novelty jumper girl but a more subtl one like the one your sister' swearing could probably sway me. The elbows are a nice touch! I'm really starting to feel properly Christmassy ^_^ can't wait!!

  9. I'm not a novelty christmas jumper sort of gal either to be honest but you've got to embrace the spirit of it I suppose! I'd love to do a christmas jumper competition though haha, I've seen some seriously funky ones with lights!

You both look very sweet in these too by the way, you pair could wear anything and look awesome!

    1. Ah thanks Sandra ;) I lost a bet with my sister and ended up with the reindeer, but they matched up pretty well with our bedrooms in the end!
