Elephant print shirt, Primark; The Legging jeans, c/o AG Jeans; Black tassel patent loafers, c/o New Look; Coat, Veeko (Hong Kong); Tartan and houndstooth scarf, Zara; Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 110.

Once upon a winter, the entirety of the Zara fan base fell in love with a selection of softer-than-soft double-sided scarves. I’ll put my hands up and admit I got utterly swept away in the excitement and this tartan/houndstooth number ended up in my possession.

Is it me or have coats become not-quite-enough for the chill in Britain this year? Like seriously, today I’m bundled up in about five layers looking a little somethin' like the Michelin man. But over the weekend, my sister and I (you know the jist) got layered up and went for a drive in search of a new pair of Converse - watch this space - and this scarf was the perfect way to keep somewhat warm.

Apparently these toasty scarves have been selling like hotcakes for a mere £19.99 and I completely advocate the purchase of one to all of you. They’re kinda huge, in that mine doubles as a snuggly duvet for cold morning commutes, but that just adds to their otherworldly charm. x

  6. You're such an enabler hehe. The red lips are the perfect finishing touch to this! I have actually smugly not needed a coat the past too days and I'm putting it all down my new angora jumper! Twas indeed a wise investment. You are far from Michelin man, though I feel like there's a pun in there somewhere with 'Michelle-Michelin'...

    1. Haha aw sorlee Jade! I just had to swing a red lip on to combat the weird dark/misty weather. I'm sorely tempted by an angora number now, I did eye up the Zara one earlier this week and it is too cold to go without ;) x
