Daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: November photo diary
Counting down to Christmas via square shaped photos and snow-tinkered festivities in the calendar.

one. Good morning! One month until Christmas Eve klaxon! It’s getting really, really cold in England now, and more Christmassy than ever in London. I’m making a pact with myself to try and get over to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and also to Hogwarts in the Snow with whichever poor soul I can drag with me. Better to embrace every moment, huh? I really need to get to grips with Christmas shopping as well. Usually I’d have my lists down by now, but for some reason, I’ve really slacked! I’ve got some gift guides coming up on the blog this week, but do link me up to yours so I can grab some inspo.

two. Continuing the festive theme, I received a super cute jewellery Advent calendar from the ladies at Freedom at Topshop this weekend. I’ve popped it up next to my ‘The Snowman’ calendar. Roll on the 1st! I’m also on the hunt for a December Instagram challenge, if anyone knows of one?

three. I went along to the Clarks SS14 press day on Thursday and saw some beautiful new pieces due in next year! I’m not sure of exact dates just yet, but I’ll write up my thoughts and share some photos when it’s not so arctic outdoors. Who really wants to be taunted by open-toes when we’re nestled by the fire, eh? I can confirm the collection is lovely though: they’re moving on so quickly to a fashion-centric aesthetic. Kristabel, Aisling and I then went for a deeeelish Cha Cha Moon dinner. We also popped to Folli Follie on Bond Street for a gift-wrapping ‘do. We learnt to gift wrap ‘properly’, I still failed at life, and wrapped little Santa sacks of presents for Kids Company UK! Finally, we traipsed over to Graphic for the STYLIGHT party which was plenty of fun - lots of faux sleepover story sharing with Lucy, Clare and Lauren!

four. Currently busy planning ahead for 2014 which is slightly scary to say the least! I’m considering a few new paths: hoping to visit Seoul and we’ve confirmed our Hong Kong travels too. Exciting! It already feels like my holiday back in March was far too long ago… I also have Taylor Swift’s concert to look forward to, some potential new client work, possible Big Bang and Beast concerts and, more excitingly, just a new year to start anew in.

five. I’m finally getting to grips with my new phone too! I have the Nexus 5 now, following a year-long stint with my Samsung Galaxy S3. As I’ve mentioned before, once I get round to compiling my oddment thoughts into kind-of helpful notes, I’ll post a brief guide to Android-ness for fashion and beauty bloggers. Sound good? FYI, if you like the look of any screenshot type things you’ve seen on my Insta, I use dodol launcher and a wide array of themes that I change up weekly. (:

  3. Christmas countdown! I spotted this Topshop advent calendar last week and had to stop myself from peeking inside. I think the jewellery goodies would be even more tempting than scoffing all the chocolate. Brilliant calendar for magpies!
The plans you have sound very exciting, I would simply love to visit Hong Kong :)
