Daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: ways to wear, how to wear the pink trend, outfit inspiration
Blush strappy satin cami, £20, Topshop; Pink fluffy pocket cardigan, £39, Miss Selfridge; Dark grey super stretch trousers, £14.99, H&M; Belt with large stones, £19.99, Zara; Chester tassel loafers, £155, Russell & Bromley.

So it seems that all of the hopes and dreams of my 5-year-old 'Mama just let me pick my own outfits' excitement has resurfaced with a vengeance. Ah the pink trend. How my wardrobe sung when that little one peeked out of Fashion Week. Today I'm guest posting over at Sarah's blog - City Girl's Fashion Box - about ways to style up a pink fluffy jumper whilst she's living it up in the US of A. Hop over to her blog for a bonus read!

In a similar vein, I also posted a ways to wear over at Aesthetic Online, the digital counterpart to my print magazine. Being an Arcadia girl nowadays means that it's a rite of passage in the office to own this camisole in all colours. Basically, I'm hands-on-heart wishing that I could pair one with these striped trousers by H&M, a fluffy cardigan and semi-matching tonal loafers.

How are you working the pink trend at the moment? Or do you prefer a warmer, more classic autumnal palette? x

  3. I have to admit, I'm a classically autumnal girl at heart - burgundies, aubergines, navies and dark greys will always hold a special place in my heart for this time of year - but the odd sizzle of pink that's been peeking out of shop windows and every magazine under the sun has spoken to the 8-year-old, pink-frill-loving, pony-owning-wannabe that still hovers around my subconscious, and this outfit that you've styled is absolutely gorgeous, the perfect mix of young, fun, and subtle. Clearly going to have a peek at the cami and cardigan - might as well make the most of my last ever student loan, right? xx

    1. Burgundies and navies are my staple all year round! I'm leaning more towards those at the moment - as my latest outfit posts show ;) - but I'm all over the pink at the moment! Thanks Francesca, definitely think you should have a sneaky splurge with the ol' student loan! xx

  4. Ooh I love the mixing of the pink cutesy, girly trend with more structured, masculine pieces like the trousers and shoes. I'm normally a die-hard autumnal palette girl but I really want to branch out this season. There's only so much burgundy in the world.

    1. Thanks sweet (: I adore my classic autumn colours but am SO into this pink 'thing' that's everywhere. Any excuse to be a bit more sickly sweet with my style, eh? x
