one. Firstly, happy October! It's the beginning of my favourite three months of the year and I couldn't be more excited about it. I must admit I've been indulging in those all important ten minutes extra in bed a LOT more recently, but then that all seems a-okay when you get the perfectly crisp morning air on the walk to work (probably just me?!) and that super refreshing bite of October chill on the way home.

two. I GOT RED TOUR TICKETS! Monday saw Taylor Swift announce her first European dates for the Red Tour and she's now playing five dates in London. Ling, Natasha and I managed to nab presage tickets on Wednesday and we're going on Sunday 2nd February! Taylor is always amazing live (is this a good time to admit I've seen her play four times now?) and I'm so excited to hear her perform 'All Too Well', 'Begin Again', 'Starlight' and 'Holy Ground'! Is anyone else also going on the 2nd?

three. Yesterday I popped to London for the Matalan Movie Club event. I finally got to meet Sarah from Sequin This after about 3 years of reading her blog and also got to see lots of lovely bloggers, alongside my sister who I took along as my plus one. It was probably one of the best blog events I've been to actually, some chilled out chatter, champagne and canap├ęs, followed by a quick peek at their AW13 range and a private screening of Woody Allen's 'Midnight In Paris'. Just lovely! Their AW13 collection has some seriously gorgeous coats and skirts, which I'm going to shop next week, time permitting. I also headed to the Japan Matsuri 2013 in Trafalgar Square, hosted by Japan Centre, where I got my first taster of Shoryu Ramen - noted. That. Down.

four. I've fallen back in love with print magazines this week at long last. As a blogger and fashion journalism graduate, the lines have become pretty twisted and blurred with fashion media, but I've finally seen the light and indulged in a magazine haul late on Thursday night. Glamour, ELLE and Vogue are all perched prettily on my bedside for inspirational perusal.

five. Finally, I've been posting a whole lotta goodness on the blog this week. Two posts a day, say what?! I did a little review of Remington's new epilator, a mini Ways to Wear on the topic of pink, a collars and shirts outfit post and then a Levi's denim shirt outfit post! Don't forget to click around, catch up and comment if you haven't already.
And for the captions… Instax and Sharpie fun · Sushi and tempura with one of the best girls Sharon @ Suki in Chinatown · Perusing Christmas displays in London is my favourite as of October · Falling back in love with the printed word · Sneaky Hirati bun from Shoryu Ramen at the Japan Matsuri · Buckingham Palace! · Snapbacks and floral dresses were my thing back in the day · Green Park trees · Buckingham Palace selca with the sister.

  1. I too had a magazine splurge this week! Felt good!

  2. I am SUCH a fan of this time of year, too - autumn through winter (and Christmas, obviously!) are just so magical, as far as I'm concerned.
Ohhh I'm so pleased to see you got Taylor Swift tickets, too (I'm going on the Saturday), seeing her on the Red Tour is probably going to make my 2014, at this point.
Also, I'm ashamed to say I haven't been keeping up with my reading of blogs as much as I'd have liked, lately, but I have to say, your blog is looking so gorgeous since the last time I was on it (not that it wasn't before, obviously)! xx

    1. Definitely, always my favourite few months of the year. Ah how exciting! Every time I see Taylor live it completes my year (: I saw her play 'Red' live when she did some UK promotions for the album last year and it was amazing. Thanks lovely, I've only had it changed around for about a month, it's been a manic few weeks for all! xx
