Sometimes a day filled with home comforts, familiar photographs, instant ramen, new bedding, flicking through YouTube, collecting small change in your Marc by Marc Jacobs coin purse and painting your nails is just needed, you know?

How do you rest up and recuperate these days?
Photographs from the last sleepy Saturday in October 2013.

  1. Funnily enough, that's almost exactly how I spent my day today! I basically can't function if I don't get enough quiet time, so when I have the chance I usually relax by making myself a nice breakfast, catching up on blogs and all that jazz :)

    1. I hadn't indulged in one for so long! It's nice to switch off from the laptop and your phone for a day and just relax. I wish I still had time for breakfast and a blog catch-up in the mornings - that used to be my daily routine too!

  7. I spent yesterday burning candles, reading and doing a facemask- relaxing makes my heart sing! Is Eleanor and Park as good as it seems, by the way? :)

    1. Looovely! I think I need a facemask evening tonight! Yes - not 100% what I'd expected but I finished it last night and I am going to pen a review when I get a chance! x

  8. Lazy days are THE BEST. Sometimes you just need a day for some decent rest & relaxation before delving into the manic again ^_^ also! Am desperate to get my hands on Eleanor & Park, you have to let me know what you thought of it! xoxo
