Summer to autumn dressing and wardrobe preparations.

So I hear that September 2013 is a thing now. Crazy. This time last year I was awaiting graduation and wishing with all my heart that I was heading back-to-school/college/Uni. This year, I'm wishing for the same, with added might. You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone pals.

Amongst reminiscing about the summer and all of its' romantic, sunkissed ways, I've been busy shaking up my wardrobe for some more autumn/winter centric pieces. London Fashion Week is lurking around the corner again and I've been doing the obligatory 'oh my gosh, I have no clothes' shop.

---

Top of my style list to tackle is that whole tartan/plaid thing. I've never managed to make that work for me but I think AW13 is a good time to try. This contrast collar number from Zara looks like a failsafe option to pair with some jeans - Topshop Leighs, I'm finally coming for you.

Being an Arcadia sorta gal these days, it comes as no surprise that this contrast sleeve top from Topshop is being eyed up for that elusive payday treat. It's even got pink on the back to hint towards that incoming trend. This lace cami will not leave my mind for love nor money. Well…! Its' slightly lingerie features and soft lace trim will look perfect with a drop waist skirt and chunky beyond chunky knit.

If you follow me on Twitter (thanks btw, and if not, here's your gateway to my daily musings), you'll know that I've been on a week-long quest to find the perfect black patent loafers for LFW wearin'. These Topshop versions look pretty darn good to me - now to collect the pennies from my imaginary wishing well. Oh and that b-e-a-uuuutiful bag? Let's just stare at it some more: the Chloe Baylee has been my phone and Macbook wallpaper. The obsession is that great.
What are some of your current wishes?

  14. I saw that Zara tartan top today - if it's the same one from TRF section then I was disappointed to find that the back didn't have the print and it was black, so annoying! I'm missing out on LFW again :((( so annoyed that I didn't book myself out of work for it! Bah. Also, i totally wish I was back at uni and not facing the real world of 9-5 work. Boo.
