Daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: sunday selca, weekend photo diary, harry potter, september 1st, hogwarts express
Hello September~

And in the blink of an eye, it's suddenly September again! I think September might be one of my favourite months, you know. Hindsight is a beautiful thing and now that I've waved farewell to my school/college/Uni days and am firmly placed somewhat in the wonderful world of 'reality', I feel super nostalgic at this time of year. New wardrobes, new books, new mindset, a clean slate…

To shake up the blog for September this year, I'm reinstating that old blogging favourite - a Sunday catch-up post. The weeks simply fly by at the moment and where's better to document weekly happenings accompanied by a slightly gratuitous selca than the one place I spend the most time? My blog.

---

one. This week has been super chilled out and relaxed. With no dollar to my name and no firm plans in the diary, I spent Bank Holiday Monday having baby cuddles with my cousin Danny (who is fast coming up to 2 years old!) and shooting blog photos, followed by a sweet late afternoon walk and adventure by the lakes.

two. Aesthetic magazine is ticking along nicely. I've spent most of my evenings packing orders whilst rewatching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, one of my favourite anime series. I'm overwhelmed at the support, kindness and talent of you lot: if you haven't already bought a copy, you can do so right here - it'd mean the world to me!

three. I finally went out on a 'proper' staff party this week with work! Our summer party was on Thursday, held at Barrio North in Angel, London. The venue was absolutely adorable, a little Mexican themed place with plenty of Instagram worthy decor accents. We got to enjoy a little karaoke sesh (surprise surprise, my noteworthy tunes were Spice Girls, One Direction and Taylor themed), antipasti boards and yummy cocktails.

four. Stylewise, I've been busy preparing my wardrobe for the impending London Fashion Week. How does it always whip around so quickly?! I've placed some sneaky orders with Urban Outfitters, Dahlia (this co-ords set is winging its' way to me!) and faithful Topshop, and am now needing to eBay nearly all of my belongings to justify… life. I think I'm also going to pick up this Ever Ours bowler hat and smock dress once my invoices are paid in to me too!

five. This week I've mostly been listening to Sunmi's solo debut single, '24 Hours'. I'm not a huge fan of her new image but the song is so catchy and perfect for the late summer. I'm also half-obsessed with Seungri's entire new mini-album and BTOB's digital single, 'When I Was Your Man'. Sungjae, you're getting so gooood pal. x
