Daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: uk lifestyle blog, fashion blogger, photo diary, jay park european tour london

one. This week has been packed. From finishing up LFW work, getting some blog posts planned, seeing Lily for her birthday, seeing the best friends, going to a Jay Park concert (which was amazing, we even managed to 'upgrade' to standing tickets!) and celebrating the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (or Moon Festival!), I haven't had a spare minute. Next week looks a lot more chilled thankfully. On Thursday I had a lovely chilled evening away from my Macbook to chill with my family for the Mid-Autumn Festival, where we ate lots of food, homecooked by my Granny, a birthday cake for my brother's 21st, and traditional mooncakes that my baby cousin was quite enamoured by.

two. Now that I've had time to process NYFW and LFW, I've been 'busy' compiling some thoughts about incoming trends. So far, it just looks like updated laces and pastels are going to be pretty huge. Not much progress colour palette wise for me, but I've already earmarked plenty of SS14 looks over on my newly reclaimed Pinterest account. On Tuesday I also managed to backtrack a little and see the launch of Eudon Choi's collaborative range with River Island for AW13. I won't lie ladies, I caved, a new jumper has joined the wardrobe ranks... Watch this space.

three. Foodie week central this week. Went for a long overdue Wahaca on Wednesday with the Dream Team to celebrate Lily's birthday (and her shiny new job!), lots of food was consumed, lots of laughs were had - and my stomach problems were back in full force. I also popped out for a dinner date with my two best friends from school, one of whom recently moved out of our town. Had a looovely evening: it's always the best when people just know you inside and out!

four. Thought I'd share a couple of blog related shenanigans with you: a few weeks ago, Becca (from Fashion Train) and I were featured on the Quiz site with some of our blog related musings and top picks from their new range. I'm also featured in the Style Fruits Brilliantly British blogger top trump style cards which is exciting! You can see more about it here and I'm featured alongside lovely bloggers like Sarah at Temporary Secretary, Gem at From Gem With Love and Sarah from Essbeevee. Also, I'm finally getting round to upgrading my camera 'equipment', so there may be some radio silence by way of outfit posts until I iron it all out.

five. Finally, a bit of a gratuitous push but I'm now offering independent advertising in my sidebar again. Feel free to drop me an email here if you're interested, I've got an introductory offer on at the moment. (:

    1. Thanks lover, seem to be okay but not great, I'm booking in some appointments at the specialist to get it sorted again. Ah you definitely need to visit Gem, not 100% sure, I've only been in London, no others in my area! xxxx

  4. Get well soon, Michelle! Amen to that last point on 'three' - there's nothing like feeling completely comfortable with people who *really* know you. I've just had to Google Jay Park to see who he is (sorry) and on images, why does Kev Jumba come first as a related search?!
