Oh it's been a while, Daisyb. In between many a sleepless night because of Aesthetic deadlines and print dates, celebrating Mama's 50th birthday and catching up with my real life friends who barely get a look in on all the social media I, er, do with my time, I've photographed approximately one outfit of about ten. So, I'm sorry about that, but on the bright side: Aesthetic has gone to print and you can preorder an issue here!

Cream crochet kimono, Topshop; Black playsuit, H&M; Red wellington boots, c/o Hunter; Sorbet orange floral crown headband, c/o Petals and Peaches.

Anyway, onto this off the beat outfit. Michelle never does festivals. A mixture of music that I don't listen to coupled with the fact I get tired and creaky after being outside for too long (early Granny alert!) means that festivals are just a no-go for me. I'll listen to my music in the garden with a peach iced tea in hand! Hunter recently offered to send me a pair of their classic wellies to style up and review on the blog, and I duly accepted, thinking ahead to the snowy conditions that our British winter promises!

I'm still a huge fan of my crochet kimono and black playsuit worn together. I rarely get the chance to wear this kimono nowadays but adore it so much! Paired with the Taylor Swift worthy red Hunters and my beautiful new floral crown, this is a sweet little look that could ease me into festival worthy occasions. Speaking of my floral crown, can you believe this is the first I own? Created by the lovely Peaches who blogs at Style Peaches, the toned down orange is my new favourite, available at Petals and Peaches for super reasonable prices. I. Like.

Okay, time to stop chattering away. Tell me about your weekends and make me feel better about... life, please? I'm a tad overwhelmed. Oh and if you haven't already, make sure you're subscribed to the ol' blog via Bloglovin'. Thanks pal. ;)

  3. Love this festival outfit :) What a babe! I really want a pair of Hunter wellies but my friend has some in pink that come right up to the knee and she had great difficulty getting them on and off at Creamfields last year so it kinda put me off them. They seem much tighter to the leg than other wellies. xx

  15. Love this outfit! I really want some red wellies. Even though I love festivals and go to quite a few, I am such a granny about it too - I don't really like camping and always get tired standing up for too long haha!
