Cropped floral trim top, customised; Floral print trousers, c/o Boohoo; Sandals, Zara; Longchamp Le Pliage.

Last Saturday was a delightfully sunny day in London. I snapped these photos at around half nine in the morning, believe it or not, before hopping on a train to meet the lovely Winnie for a much overdue catch-up and ramen eating session.

Have I raved about Bonedaddies enough on this blog yet? …. No? Well here's the deal, big bowls of ramen in 20-hour brewed broth is appealing at any time of the year sans the obligatory two-week-long heatwave that London brings. Never one to disappoint, Winnie and I ditched *gasp* the bowls of delicious broth and opted instead for fried chicken and soft shell crab starters (ridiculously good!) and platters of dipping ramen instead - my favourite. We finished up by sharing a soft vanilla ice cream topped with sesame snaps. Y-u-m. Two thumbs up from me, and hop over to Winnie's blog to hear her thoughts.

Onto the outfit and Michelle's 101 to Bad Ideas in the Heat. Double black. Actually, the situation wasn't too bad: my Boohoo trousers are perfectly silky (obvs not real silk) and are the ideal summer-weight choice for sporadic 32°C heat. I paired it with my amazing custom cropped top. I went to the Huawei Fashion Fix smartphone party on last Thursday where they were customising plain tops, and I'm so pleased with how they transformed an oversized black tee for me, with roll-up sleeves, a slouchy crop cut and a beautiful ditsy floral trim. Love!

  1. This was the best day ever! Can't wait for our next catch up session. That bubble tea was such a refreshing break from the city heat....definitely melting in my office at the moment.
