Printed silk wrap dress, Diane von Furstenberg; Wedges, Zara; Bag, Gucci.

Last week saw two of my good friends from school tie the knot and get married. It was truly beautiful, with accompanying gate-crashing ducks (and ducklings) and a little stream by a converted barn. It's so surreal that wedding seasons have begun for me, and of course the main question on my lips was what to wear.

With the weather holding out and remaining warm until we left the farmhouse at around midnight, I finally got to get a wearing of my Diane von Furstenberg silk wrap dress. It is a dream. I adore the batwing sleeves, little skirt, tieback detail and the stunning print. In faux Olivia Palermo form, I paired mine with the first ever Gucci bag my parents got me and my Zara wedges. I forgoed the accessories on this occasion - sorry Olivia P - because y'know accessorising a wedding outfit when it's sweltering out seemed odd.

Sending all my love and more congratulations to Casey and James!

  1. You look really good in that. DVF dresses are always flattering but can I be honest about something? I was kind of paying attention to the cat :) So cute

  17. This is a nice dress. I think it's really difficult (for me, at least) to style for a wedding so I'd say you've done a pretty good job. I have a wedding in Cyprus to go to soon, so I'll be trying to style for the sweltering weather as well. Nightmare.
