Reversible pillowcases, c/o Notonthehighstreet.com.

It's been an odd few weeks and I've somehow managed to spend more time out and about than in the comfort of my own home. Say what?! I'm usually a stickler for staying indoors and being a little homebody, but getting out, meeting new faces and doing a little more has done me the world of good.

This weekend I've been out at the lake, feeding ducks and going for a stroll with my siblings, and I also went to one of my close friends' hen party. It was a relatively controlled one as I've been indulging far too much recently! The detox begins on Monday, I promise. To help get over extreme tiredness from constantly doing things (I have another post about introversion going up next week), I'm cosying up with some work for Aesthetic in the comfort of my home office. Or probably my bedroom, let's face it.

Not On The High Street contacted me a few weeks ago and I ended up designing these sweet matching, customisable pillowcases to spruce up the ol' boudoir. I'm a huge fan of cutesy touches in a classic designed room, and these add just enough personality to match my current room's decor. They read 'Sweet Dreams' on one side and 'Good Night' on the other, if you were interested, but in hindsight, I really wish I'd opted for 'Prince' and 'Princess' for one side and 'Bon Soir' on the other! Really cute for updating your bedding as it can be matched with other cases and prints, and they'd make a lovely gift too.

---

The past week has been super busy: I'm really excited and inspired by how well Aesthetic's next issue is coming along, and alongside making magazine plans, I went to an event by Vevie in Chelsea, London with the oh so lovely Lily, was taken on a sweet little date, and went out for some Friday drinks with my girl Cat. Definitely going to tone things down next week and nestle in my new bedding with some episodes of Monstar…

How has your week been? Oh, and don't forget to add Daisybutter to your Bloglovin feed here too. (:

    1. Aw thanks Sophia! You know me, can't resist an all-over print! I've finally found a good balance of the two I think, going out in the heat is so exhausting though, I go out for a few hours and then need a nap! x

  5. Those pillow cases are super cute! Oh gosh, I'm on uni holidays at the moment and feel like I haven't gone out enough, haha. I just get so caught up in chores and going to the gym (I know, right?), and going out leaves me feeling exhausted, too. Looking forward to your post on introversion!

  17. Moving to a new house and want to buy some new bedroom stuff so super glad I came across this post! Will definitely be taking a look at the site.

I used to blog under the name 'thechicblonde' a little while ago (actually, a long while ago) and though I struggled to write a style blog (as I'm lacking in style), I always remembered your blog as being great. So I'm also super glad to be revisiting it.
