Daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: what i wore, ootd, summer fashion, maxi dress, bandeau maxi dress
Black maxi dress, Miss Selfridge; Custom phonecase, c/o Caseapp.

Slap me on the wrist, for here's another Insta-outfit. Last weekend was a combination of birthday infused fun (not mine, one of my best friends') and getting home the next morning - still wearing this ensemble.

Anyway, before that all happened, I did manage to venture out for a drive with my sister and to browse adorable bunnies at a pet shop on Saturday, and I even wore a maxi dress for the occasion. All 5ft1" of me! Snapped it up in our work sample sale for less than £3 and I'd been hankering for a black maxi since the sunshine arrived (and swiftly disappeared). Paired it with my new Zara sandals, a denim jacket (even more new leaves being turned everyday!) and some other bits, but I'll pop a full post up when I've managed to catch a) the sun, b) my sister in her free time, and c) a good blog-face day.

Spent yesterday evening with my godmother who is currently visiting from Hong Kong and got home super late so tonight will be a film and dressing gown night. No Insta-outfit from that! ;) Hope you're all having a lovely week!

    1. Thank you Sophie! I'm only 5"1 and didn't ever 'believe' in maxis, but I've finally been converted! (:

  5. I've only ever tried a maxi dress as a kid but I'm not sure if one would suit me now. I should just try one on instead of steering clear of them! You really do get some good buys from your works sample sale, for a great price.

Also I love the post showing your mom's style as a teenager. She looks very much like you!
