Brighton Blogger Picnic.

A weekend or two ago saw a couple of us bloggers get together for a little picnic and meet-up. It'd been a while since I headed to a meet-up and I absolutely love putting faces to names, having a chinwag over online woes and, of course, eating lots of food. This meet saw me venture over to beautiful Brighton on one half sunny, half dream-cloudy Sunday.

After being accosted by multiple pigeons at London Victoria, I managed to meet the wonderful Erin and hop on our train down to the South Coast. Erin and I have met before, but it was really nice to chat about anything and everything with her! We then met up with Ria at Brighton station, and attempted to find our way to The Mash Tun. Cue instant I-don't-know-how-to-cross-a-road panics.

We met Skye (who organised the whole thing - thank you Skye!), Lauren & bump, and Katie, and had a lovely picnic under the umbrella whilst the British weather did its' thing and we wanted to share Pinterest worthy food treats. I thoroughly enjoyed just sitting around with no definite plans, in a new city! Then we decided a stroll through to Tiger and down the Lanes would be a nice idea, culminating in odd purchases, cake stand coveting and ending up at the beach and Brighton Pier - result! (For my tourist/Chinese girl snap happy tendencies at least.)

All in all, a lovely way to spend my Sunday and a pretty sweet way to shake up my weekend non-plans, as well as giving me a chance to tick off something from my 2013 Goals list. Head over to the girls' blogs: they're truly amazing girls and Skye has the most beautiful cat named Pixel too! Scroll on down for more tourist-centric snaps!
