So, I'd kind of earmarked late March as the start of some springtime style inspo and the revival of super girly dresses and floaty pieces on Daisybutter. Oh ho ho, think again Michelle, for there is a sizeable slick of snow outdoors, and you're going to have to shoot real outfits and be an actual human out there.

Black polka dot split back top, c/o Boohoo; Suede tan skirt, Unnamed shop in Tsuen Wan; Gold accent heel boots, Dorothy Perkins; Faux fur coat, Veeko; Scallop edge satchel, c/o Yeswalker.

I bought this skirt in one of my favourite boutiques in Hong Kong. The shop is teeny tiny, based in one of the many shopping centres (probably more akin to a mix between indoor market and town centre shopping mall) in Tsuen Wan, which is where I live. At just HK$60, I literally could not resist, and I've paired it here with my Boohoo polka dot split back top. Coinciding with Wonderbra's National Cleavage Day which is today, I thought the split back was perfect to pair with some lingerie from their latest collection. Still, I'm starting to feel a little concerned about the amassing snow outdoors and the thought that this is global warming. Even the penguins wouldn't enjoy this.

Over the top, I'm wearing another new buy -- yep, I finally found my perfect faux fur jacket. I saw this in Veeko, when my Mama was shopping in there for some cardigans and trousers, and at a 75% reduction… well, it would be rude to leave it, right? Pft, some justification… It means I've managed to knock another item off my 2013 Goals list though, and it's absolutely perfect for guarding against the snow.

Finally, I think it's about time I debuted my new arm candy. I posted an Instagram snap of this about a week or so ago and I guess you guys liked it?! This little scallop edge satchel is by Yeswalker, a new concession of Yesstyle (where I buy nearly all of my knits and little dresses) and YesAsia (where I buy nearly all of my music), so I literally jumped at the chance to review some pieces. The shoulder strap is adjustable, meaning a look for all occasions, and it fits a surprising amount of things in it. I absolutely adore the metal bar and scallop edging though, so darn cute, and I 'needed' a new tan shoulder bag in my life...
