Last week I Instagrammed a snippet of this outfit, something coloured and simple that I pulled on for work last Wednesday. Believe it or not, recently it isn't all that often that I wear something and think 'this needs to be blogged'. I had a bit of a moment over the weekend where I read through some of my old blog posts from last year and wondered where I found the energy and time to post almost-daily outfits!

Koi print shirt, Primark; Cigarette style jeans, Vintage Chanel; Boots, ASOS; Necklace, Ophelia at Topshop; Mulberry Alexa in Petticoat White/Rose Gold; Lipstick, Rimmel 'Kiss of Life'.

Anyway, here's a follow up of a last-week blog post. You know the jeans that are always firmly planted in your mind? The pair that are insanely comfy, the perfect fit, a wearable wash and, nine times out of ten, are in fact imaginary. Well these are them. A faded, just bashed in enough pair of vintage Chanel jeans. I snapped these up when at a vintage fair of some sort, and knew I had to have them. I mean, they were even the perfect fit for me! Faded gold hardware intact, delicate quilted pockets on the reverse and a figure-hugging fabric = a very happy Mish.

Believe it or not, I paired them with my newest wardrobe addition: the Primark koi print shirt. Emma has the same one (in fact, I only knew this existed after watching her latest haul video - subscribe, she's a babe!) which only convinced me to buy it more. I'm telling ya, there's something in the air when bloggers get together... multiple fads are bought into in abundance. ANYWAY. The shirt. I'm seriously in love with the China print and koi carp swimming across it, what is it about this blue and white combination at the moment? So Nineties and so chic. Although, my sister took great delight in telling me that I looked like our traditional Chinese vases when I returned home, that was a personal highlight of my week.

Accessories wise, I left the top few buttons of my shirt undone - ooh la la! - and wore my little heart pendant by Ophelia at Topshop. The girls at work gifted this to me for my birthday and I literally haven't taken it off since. It's perfectly elegant and dainty. Also wearing my usual Yoseob bracelet and crown ring, and this week's manicure of choice is Essie's Smokin Hot. Looks like I'm finally getting out of my style rut - watch this space...

  2. Your hair grew so much, and I love that blouse <3 loving that lipstick on you! Out of simple curiousity, does that lipstick seem 'grainy' to you? I've got the same one and it's quite grainy :S

    1. Ah I know right, Reb! Every time I get it trimmed, it grows back twice as fast! Thanks lovely. (: I don't find it grainy at all, the nude and pink shades from the same range are pretty grainy, but my reds are all fine! Probably just a high street brand quality issue? x

    1. Thank you Hannah, it is my absolute pride and joy haha! Aw a lot of people have said that, I find crazy prints quite forgiving on me because I'm super short and quite petite? It helps to streamline it with skintight trousers! x
