After a whirlwind trip away to Hong Kong and returning to sub-zero temperatures once more, I've decided to come out of my blogging hibernation and get back to incessant photo sharing. You know how it is. Five days on the other side of the world seems to have done me the world of good: I'm back to feeling refreshed, inspired and much more like myself.

Pink and black Bretron, H&M; Black textured leggings, River Island; Wedge boots, c/o Yeswalker; Scallop edge coat, Veeko; Transparent bug necklace, c/o Swarovksi; Longchamp Le Pliage Handbag Tote.

This ensemble is something I wore last week when I went back to work. I always favour simple and classic looks to brash prints and things that are kinda outside my comfort zone. This H&M Breton top is easily the best £7.99 I've ever spent (excluding that Peko Peko teriyaki burger I had one time...). It has a lovely light texture, loose-but-still-fitted fit and three-quarter length sleeves that I can't get away from. Looove. I wore it with my textured leggings from River Island to combat my waning energy levels/stupid jetlag, but it'd work just as well with jeans, your pyjama bottoms, a circle skirt or chiffon maxi. World of possibilities here, guys.

I got 70% off this adorable scallop hem coat when I was, erm, shopping in Hong Kong. Srsly, if you ever visit Hong Kong and venture as far out as Tsuen Wan (my hometown!), go and visit Luk Yeung Galleria just outside the MTR station. I went with my Mama to pick up daily essentials in the Watson's (a tad like Boots) a little further in, but this caught my eye. In love with the collar and hem. So much. Finally to add some detail, I'm wearing my adorable little bug necklace from Swarovski's latest collection drop. I ran a giveaway last week to give one of you the chance to win one, and my lucky winner was Charlie
PS. If you're feeling extra kind, I'd love to snag a nomination for Best Personal Style Blog in the Company Blog Awards. /selfpimping.

  18. Lovely coat! I love the scalloped hem. I've never really been out as far as Tsuen Wan but in terms of MTR, I've stopped off at Kwai Fong a few times on that line because that's where one of my fave malls is. Though I didn't do it too often because it's so far out from where I live and I tend to stick around MK/TST areas. Ah totes miss HK.

    1. N'wah thanks Winnie! Haha we're right at the very edge, the perfect little place. I don't think I've ever been to Kwai Fong properly, except for tong sui with my cousins! I usually spend my time in Mong Kok too, or Kowloon Tong for the amazing shopping and food courts. x
