The last show in my schedule on Saturday was Ashley Isham, tucked away in the less busy, Freemasons Hall venue, that is always brimming with the well-dressed, the upcoming talent and more understated showings of what the season has to offer.
Ashley Isham's AW13 collection was a fluid selection of evening gowns, soft structure outerwear and textural cool. Based around an olive green palette with black Latex tights, the collection showcased effortless glamour with a hint of femininity that didn't overshadow its military-esque counterparts. Particular standouts for me include the floor sweeping gowns, floral cape style dress and that leather capelet coat. It's the season of the coat, for sure.
