Essentials is a new mini series on Daisybutter, highlighting my personal favourite wardrobe pieces and selecting an edit of outfits that focus around it. Designed to showcase how versatile a wardrobe can be as well as to inspire a capsule wardrobe of perfectly chosen items.Easily one of my most extravagant impulse buys, my Topshop Boutique Double Zip Tunic first made an appearance on my blog during LFW SS13. Ringing in at the tills (and ringing alarm bells in my bank account...) at £80, I've managed to wear this at my graduation and also just on an everyday basis a few times too. It's perfect to wear on its' own, as I did for LFW, but for the colder months (ahem, right now), it is lovely with a collared shirt and thick cable knit snood. Think of this mini series as a twist on ye olde Ways to Wear. ;)
Tunic and pinafore style dresses are an essential in my wardrobe - I adore the boxy shape of the Topshop Boutique number, and the statement pockets are perfect for a) stashing my phone in, and b) hiding my hands in. The gunmetal zips make it feel 'soOo fashion' and because it's sleeveless, look at the world of possibilities ahead... ♥

Beautiful dress, i love the way you have styled it :) Cant wait to see more of these posts !
