Brunch but not brunch at Bill's, Soho.
Last weekend, Aisling and I met up for brunch-but-not-brunch, before heading to the ShootMeFab event. While we'd originally planned to go to The Breakfast Club, of course we missed the optimum time (I've been told around 12:15pm is good?) and the queue was wrapping around the block. Instead, we walked a little further down to Bill's and grabbed a quick bite, neatly missing out on the breakfast menu by five minutes. Oh life, you're a cruel mistress...

First impressions of Bill's? The service is super friendly and the surroundings are rustic and homey (check out those dinky salt and pepper shakers) - two thumbs up from me! The price bracket is about average if not a teeny bit steeped up for simple brunch/lunch favourites, but then again, when in Central London. I'd definitely recommend heading over if you're in London, although do try and beat the tourists there! (I blended in perfectly with my DSLR out, taking photos of... food.)

What (Aisling and) I Ordered:
- Halloumi and hummus (the burger!)
- Marinated chicken skewers with sultana, coriander and lemon cous cous
- Pink lemonade ice cream floats

I opted for the Marinated Chicken Skewers, which were seriously good, if not leaning a teeny bit on the dry side, my mouth is watering a little just typing out this review though! The cous cous was ridiculously good, complimented by pitta and tzatziki. Yum. I believe Aisling loved her halloumi and hummus too, so it was a relatively successful brunch date! Note to self: get out of bed and on an earlier train next time!

  1. Oh man this food looks so amazing! Especially the burger. I'm hungry now and I've already eaten way more than what's good for me today.
