My best friend is 22 today, and I turn 22 on the 2nd! (Unnecessarily confusing, I know.) In celebration of the hallowed event, of course I've been discussing all things gifted with anyone who'll talk to me for more than a minute, and now it's your turn. For Lent this year, I actually gave up shopping for anything that falls under the clothing, fashion and beauty category, bar the essentials such as tights and skincare repurchases. As Lady Luck would have it while on my self-imposed spending ban, I've fallen for everything and anything in-store at the moment.

daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: birthday wishlist, february wishlist, what to buy february 2013
Pre-birthday wishlist.

We all know that I can't resist a buttery soft new leather right? No surprises here with that beautiful classic blue PS11 by Proenza Schouler, Whistles make-up bag, Mulberry card holder and Prada wallet then! I've even slipped some colour in there for good measure. All cliches aside though, I'm really into building up my classic collection at the moment and I think if that Prada purse isn't delicately wrapped for my opening, I'll take matters into my own hands and head to Selfridges.

I absolutely adore the handmade creations at Fushigi Shop, that I discovered through Vicky's blog. This Liberty x Hello Kitty collar is the perfect accessory to dress up plain T-shirts and tunic dresses. I also wouldn't mind indulging in a couple of fandoms this birthday... the BEAST selca book is a given, and can we keep our fingers crossed for Taylor Swift to finally announce some UK Red tour dates please?

Finally, a birthday list wouldn't be complete without a massive jar of sweets, obligatory new season J.W.Anderson for Topshop shorts and these beautiful Aldo heels that I walk past every day whilst heading to work.
PS11 classic textured-leather shoulder bag, £1365, Proenza Schouler;
Lime leather make-up bag, £35, Whistles;
BEAST - Selca book (Limited Edition), £32, YesAsia.com;
Madame Fushigi's polkadotty kitty pink reversible collar, £19.50, Fushigi Shop;
Belted denim shorts, £50, J.W.Anderson for Topshop;
Eliza credit card slip in Pear sorbet soft large grain leather, £100, Mulberry;
Matylda heels, £85, Aldo;
Leather wallet, £285, Prada.
