Fashion CV: Choi Sooyoung. The stylish interrupter.
NB: Fashion CV is a new mini feature series that I'm trying out for Daisybutter, where I'll be highlighting my favourite style icons in each installment, breaking down their impeccable style into more manageable chunks.When it came to selecting a second fashion figure for this post series, I didn't even need to think twice before beginning to pull pieces for a Choi Sooyoung collection.
Sooyoung is a member of South Korean girl group, Girls' Generation/SNSD, and is hailed at the style starlet of the group. She is by far my favourite member, along with Taeyeon, but hey - we all know that we could be here all day if you start off my fangirl tendencies.
Sooyoung has a playful, smart, fashion forward and quirky style. Much like most of the K-pop industry, she (or SM Ent.'s stylists) favours designer labels, ranging from Isabel Marant and Commes des Garcons, to Chanel and Givenchy. While her on-stage fashion is often made up of heels and a dress that matches her eight bandmates, her personal style is a little tomboyish, full of prints and flattering silhouettes, with an undone finish. Think a mix between ladylike and the latest 'I Got A Boy' concept... ♥
I love your Fashion CV posts! This is the first one I've read, but really liking then. Sooyoung is soo pretty and I really like her style :)

DeleteSooyoung's also one of my favourites of SNSD! I really like her style but I never knew she was considered the most stylish. I'll be checking out her 'airport fashion' photos more often now!
