Each winter, December and its sequinned tendencies hit the high street, ready to entice those fashion magpies and baffle the rest of us. Working on Oxford Circus leaves me with plenty of time on my lunch break to peruse the seasonal offerings available at the moment... so here's where I present a super glittery, Ways to Wear sequins post to you! Whether you're meeting a friend for coffee, going for an evening drink (or four), or spending the night out on the tiles, sequins can still be your best friend, day or night. As ever, all of the featured products are linked below each look for your shopping ease!

Look One is a day-to-evening look, in my book at least. Teaming a sequinned skirt with a cutesy knit (worn untucked, with rolled up sleeves), this look is perfect cosy chic for the winter months. I've styled this look with block heel boots and gold glitter earrings to add understated glam, although you can easily switch up your footwear to suit your whimsy and occasion. (Cough cough, slippers...)

There's something about the drop waist dress that has completely won me over recently. I love the relaxed fit and how effortless it looks - just me? The scoop neck and cap sleeves on this gem are bound to flatter and add some ladylike charm too. Pair with a rhinestone collar necklace, BEAUXOXO glitter bow in your hair, and a pair of tan brogue boots for an eclectic outfit. I'd obviously throw a pair of lace trim socks in the mix too!

Finally, a fun and fearless look. If you're not a fan of the longline tunic and jeans situation, switch the tunic for your own grey marl dipped hem shirt (c'mon, we all have one... I think I'm on my fourth, personally!). I'd absolutely recommend AG Jeans too, they're my new love, and to think a year ago, I was still petrified of jeans! Add these adorable ears and vamp it up with sparkly heels for a few drinks after work.

  8. I am in love with the Topshop skirt. Would definitely love to strut around in that in the day! Really into sequins/anything glittery at the moment. So much so that I actually bought the sequin bra and knickers H&M are advertising everywhere, don't know what possessed me x

  11. LOVE how you put these posts together Michelle. So clever. I'm seriously considering those boots in look 1. They're kinda similar to the Topshop ones that sold out after everyone went crazy for them. Also lovin' the collar from Topshop. I've got a couple of those collars and they're so useful for dressing up a plain top. Hope all is well...
