'Tera' dress, c/o Motel Rocks; Flatform wedges, H&M; Glitter bear ears, Crown and Glory; Kitty ears ring, Urban Outfitters.
Family tradition and Mama's house rules mean that no gift unveiling and lunch prep can begin until everyone in the household is dressed on Christmas Day... Can someone please reassure me that they also had to get dressed on the big day?!

For my favourite occasion of the year, I plumped for my the beautiful Tera dress by Motel Rocks. This little number has been hanging on my bedroom wall (oh yes, see the proof here!) since I went to the Motel Rocks Christmas soiree a few weeks ago, and I just couldn't wait until New Year's. Out it came for Christmas Day! I opted for the midnight blue version, and it is the prettiest dress with a netted skirt, lace trim underlay, sheer mesh back and velveteen bodice. Perfect.

Kept things simple everywhere else with my outfit, swapping those flatform wedges for slippers and whacking my Crown and Glory bear ears on, much to my baby cousin's amusement! How sweet is the kitty ears ring that my sister gifted me too?!

Anyway, I'm still having trouble stringing my sentences together after half a week of more food than I care to imagine, one too many chocolate breakfasts and watching another film 'just because it's on TV'. Hope everyone was thoroughly spoilt as they deserved to be over Christmas - I know I was!

  20. I love everything about this post - the dress is gorgeous (what a lovely skirt!) and the lighting is so dreamy! It's so unusual to see photos taken at dusk. And how cute are those ears? The last thing I love about it is you, of course - you look stunning, as ever!
