Jemma Kidd: Make Up Secrets, £25, available now.
New to my 'coffee table books' collection is the Jemma Kidd Make Up Secrets volume. Promising a tome packed with beauty and cosmetic goodness, I was more than excited when faced with the opportunity to review a copy of my own.

Consisting of two sections (Part One is dedicated to 'Making Make Up Work For You' whilst the latter focus on 'The Problem Solver'), the new Jemma Kidd offering is full of tutorials, tidbits of beauty advice, and genuine recommendations for beauty enthusiasts, ranging from the utter novice - ahem, me - to the most obsessed. It is equal parts a good flick whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, and a useable choice that'll add interest to your getting ready routine. Check out this video demonstration of a tutorial that is visually available within the book:

Jemma Kidd's Make Up Secrets retails at £25 and is available at most book retailers. I'd hazard a guess that it'd make a perfect gift for sisters, cousins, best friends, or even for aunties and Mums!

    1. I'd really recommend it, even if only to keep the Jemma Kidd legacy going now that her product line has been discontinued! It's a lovely volume to flick through when getting ready or wondering about using a new product. (:

  10. This looks really good and not too over-simplified like some beauty books you can get. Adding this to the Christmas list for Mum! xx
