On Thursday, I made a flying visit back to Southampton for my graduation! It was a long and tiring day but it was the perfect send-off of three, out-of-body years. For those wondering - because I always seem to get questions about this! - I graduated in BA (Hons) Writing Fashion and Culture, from Southampton Solent University. Anyway, gown hire and hat issues with the girls aside, the ceremony was held in Southampton's Guildhall and, despite waiting two hours through the ceremony for my name to be called out, it was a pretty nice day, if not horrendously cold. Why oh why do November graduations happen?!

For my outfit, I eventually opted for my Topshop Boutique zip dress (better photos here) and a Zara shirt, along with a Chanel 2.55 and my suede shoe boots. Hey, I'm a fashion graduate, it's allowed! My hair is courtesy of Enrapture's Totem Styler in combination 1-3-2, and awkward expression are 'model's own'.

It's kinda bittersweet to be leaving my student days behind. I can hand-on-heart say that the past three years have been absolutely insane, ranging from verging on leaving Uni to fallouts with flatmates, from the standard kitchen-cleanliness arguments, to fully-clothed showers, from moving in with my best friend and getting a cat, to finally finding my feet and graduating with First Class Honours alongside some of my best girls. Oh, thank you Class of 2012, it's been quite a journey.
