Glossybox November 2012 - 'The Stocking Fillers Box'.
One of the highlights of each month for me is seeing beauty sample boxes land on my doorstep. I mean, after a busy day at work and even busier Friday commute squished between no less than five humans twice the height of me, a nice little box of beauty loot to see me through until it all starts again isn't bad.

From its very first impressions, the November 'Stocking Filler' Glossybox already had a smile plying its way across my face. I hear there's some Burberry in other versions of the box, but y'know what, mine is pretty darn good. First up, there are three skincare samples in mine - score! The first is the Olay Regenerist 3-Point Treatment Cream - yes, the sample is tiny, but I'm excited to give this a trial run over the weekend and reap the benefits. The Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is already propped up in my evening skincare basket, ready to be trialled tonight. Described as a 'unique rice-based powder' that exfoliates the skin, promising a smoother and brighter complexion, I am only imagining good things.

Along in the mix is the Wei Beauty Jujube Age Control Serum, a product that does what it says on the tin. I might pass this on to my Mama as a pre-Christmas stocking filler, as the full £60 pricetag sends a shiver down my spine. I won't lie, the Alison Claire Mango Body Butter smells good enough to eat: a heady mix of organic mango and cocoa butter, I'll test this and see if it compares to my faithful Jergens body moisturisers.

Finally, in my box was a teeny sample of a Nails Inc nail varnish from their core collection. I had my fingers tightly crossed for Porchester Square, but alas, I got the eye-wateringly bright Notting Hill Gate in mine. One for the 'gifts' box I think, as I'm much more of a neutrals and softer hues gal.

Glossybox are running an exclusive competition on their Twitter account on the 28th November, to win some goodies from Alison Claire, so don't forget to follow them to be in with a chance of taking home some beauty loot. Also, the Glossybox gifting function is launching on their website soon too, if you're debating on the perfect gift for beauty-enthused family and friends.

    1. I think they've really upped their game in recent months, they're always consistent, even if some boxes have better product line-ups than others! (:

  8. Impressive products! I've been debating on whether or not I should get the Glossybox for quite a while now. I'm still not sure if I'm sold on the idea yet though. However, the dermalogica daily microfoliant is excellent. I got a sample ages ago in a Birchbox (when I was still subscribed) and it was definitely one of my favorite products from them ever!
