Ooft, I am slightly lagging with my events coverage recently! Last Thursday I (and most of London...!) ended up store-hopping at Vogue's Fashion's Night Out with Sarah, Sarah, Elodie and Florence for a menegarie of fun events and parties. It. Was. Manic. Think crazy sale shoppers but paired with the prospect of complimentary goodie bags, champagne, canapes, ice-creams and more.

daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: what i wore, vogue's fashion's night out, FNO 2012, london, marc jacobs, AW12

White angel wing burnout tee, Urban Outfitters; Polka dot Leigh jeans, Topshop; Cream boucle blazer, Zara; Louis Vuitton Speedy.
I guess this is the ultimate cheat outfit post, but it does the job and I didn't have time by any stretch of the imagination to find a non-crowded place on Bond Street to shoot photos. Oh no, I opted to have a Marc Jacobs photographer snap my photo (and Flo's!) with a Marc Jacobs bear in their store window. For an evening of fashion related fun, I chose my angel wing Urban Outfitters tee, polka dot Leigh jeans (in love!) and my Zara boucle again to keep me, er, warm. Just a casual look that I'm leaning towards more and more - uh oh, whatever happened to my dress phase?! - and one that even my favourite gal Taylor Swift sported on the 7th!

It was a really, really busy and hawt night, and I paid the price with a scratchy throat and no make-up day at work the next day, but oh-so-worth it. I managed to pick up a Vogue goodie bag, Marc Jacobs goodies and a tee, countless magazines, Mulberry stickers, Juicy Couture treats, and Kate Spade ice-creams, as well as plenty more odds and ends that no-one ever 'needs'. Sarah and Sarah have also both posted about their FNOs, and as veterans of the public event, I'd totally recommend a read and to pop next year's in your diary!

  2. I can only imagine the insanity involved in the event! Our Vogue Fashion Night Out is in a different day this year, so I have yet to see how that goes.. Though I'm not sure I've even attending.

  3. Sounds like you had a fun night out! I loved all the photobooths, haha. You managed to get heaps of stuff, we weren't very strategic about it so we didn't get much at all!

    1. Hope the packing went okay! It was quite literally manic out there, combined with Paralympic goers and general tourists who had no idea what was going on down Oxford Street and Bond Street :P
