daisybutter - UK Style and Fashion Blog: what i wore, ootd, wiwt, lookbook, SS12, ever ours, deer print shirt, chambray skirt

Deer print shirt, c/o Ever Ours; Chambray skirt, H&M; Nails, Essie In Stitches.
The hasty arrival of August has suddenly thrown me into a summer haze, and I can't stop pulling out the pastels in my wardrobe in an attempt to make the most out of those midsummer days. I'm still completely enamoured by all manner of animal prints, despite Miu Miu saying that it's all about the coloured and oversized paisley now. I'm always looking for chances to wear this deer print shirt, and what better occasion that to work in sunny London, paired with a chambray skirt of mine that I always have to rescue from my sister's wardrobe. I think I'm finally going to invest in a few American Apparel jersey skirts soon, I'm, dare I say it, a little over all of the shorts I used to favour so much.

Other than dressing like a five-year-old and spending too much time on trains, things have been lovely and relaxed recently. Aesthetic magazine should be landing on my doorstep very soon, and then I'll be packing up the issues to send to everyone - exciting! At some point I also need to sift through countless boxes of beauty samples and new purchases to make room for a wardrobe and product revamp. Oh the woes of a blogger(!)

T minus 13 hours until Taylor Swift's live webchat. Eeeep.  xo

  3. I have this deer print as a one-piece! I much prefer your shirt though, as my one piece does nothing to flatter my flabby arms! Love the skirt you've paired it with too :)

  8. You look really cute and pretty here. I like how the blue from the pattern in your blouse plays with the color of your skirt.

  9. Ohh, I don't think I'll ever be done with cutesy animal prints, no matter what Miu Miu says! The print looks gorgeous against the chambray, too - so light for the (slightly!) warmer weather.
