This month, I'm torn between Joliebox and Glossybox, so I figured I'd share the creme of the crop - in my opinion, anyway - of each box. I've been in need of a few new products and just haven't found the time to browse glass shelves of products, so I'd say this is a perfectly acceptable time to fall in love with beauty boxes.

Something about the July Joliebox has taken me by surprise this month. I can't quite put my finger on it but there's just... something. This month I'm seriously in love with the Wen by Chaz Dean Sweet Almond Mint cleansing conditioner. It boasts a lovely slightly grainy texture to thoroughly cleanse the hair, and I absolutely love the scent it gives too. Other notable favourites in this box include the Etat Pur Salicylic Acid, although I've only used this twice, and the (bonus) Jane Iredale lip stain. Smells so good and I can't stop using it.

This month, my Glossybox was full of luxurious, pampering products, as opposed to things I'd generally use every day. I'm quite 'stuck' in my particular routine, but once a week, it's good to have a pamper, Anna style, right? I adore my Monu eye gel, although I'm forever using far too much with this packaging, and it can sting a little if you stupidly get it in your eyes. Other favourites include the Elizabeth Arden sachet samples, and the amazing Nuxe body oil. Oil convert, right here!
Finally, I couldn't round off a pamper post without mentioning my newest creation for Aesthetic magazine. You can now preorder Issue Two here to complete the pampering experience: full of beautifully written features from some of your favourite bloggers as well as little ol' me, beauty segments, travel tales and perfect imagery, I really hope you ladies enjoy it as much as I loved creating it. ♥

bubble baths <3 they're always the perfect end to a day!

I'm waiting for my etat pur cosmetic package and I'm really excited to try them. One of them is this A22 salicylic acid..I have acne skin and hope it will help to keep my skin clean.
ReplyDeleteAh, that's exactly how I feel after every week has ended...or even before it begins! The woes of growing up and having to work. I would love to know more about the Wen Hair care, I've heard loads about.
ReplyDeleteI hope you've gotten some time to relax!

That little lip stain is so teeny tiny! The colour of it reminds me of those plastic lip sticks you get in toy beauty sets as a child. The pamper treat sounds like perfection! Hope you have a lovely weekend Michelle xx
ReplyDeleteI love the miniature lipstain (mostly because I have fixation on extra teeny tiny things). As someone who I've noticed has been subscribed to beauty boxes for a while would you recommend them yourself? I already have a pretty fixed skin routine thanks to weird genetic issues but I'm always open to trying new pampering products + make up but I'm never sure to where to start.
