Sheer blue sleeveless shirt, Topshop; Fruit print peplum top, c/o Boohoo.com; Pixie pants, c/o J Crew; Flatforms, H&M; Red charm friendship bracelet, c/o Dainty Roses; Bunny bracelet, Dolly Bow Bow; Illustrated leather necklace, A gift from Ella.
As part of J Crew's Hello World campaign, which is being shot by blogger extraordinaires Garance Dore and Scott Schuman, I treated myself to a pair of blog famous pixie pants. Known as a mesh between leggings and something more, I was far too excited to see these land on my doorstep! 'Hello World!' sees J Crew invite worldwide customers to become J Crew Insiders, which means you'll receive benefits such as complimentary expedited shipping and duty-free shopping until 31st August. For us British homebodies, I believe this is a very welcome new feature.

I paired my J Crew pixie pants with that slightly Dolce & Gabbana inspired fruit print peplum top that I'm keeping on reserve this summer, as well as something sheer (of course) to offset the look. Kind of enjoying the double-zip effect at the back, as well as a bit of back flash! As for the pixie pants themselves, they're almost at a 180° difference to what I expected: a culmination of thick leggings paired with tapered trousers, and mine are a smidge too big for me. While I sail through this trouser phase of mine though, they are perfect to a T.

    1. They're absolutely worth the money, I can see why there's been so much hype around them, but there are so many UK high street 'dupes' for them!

  13. The Pixi pants might be a smidge loose fitting, but I think it works. They look really comfortable, but pulled together at the same time. I've always been a bit hesitant to shop at J. Crew because a lot of their merchandise seemed overpriced though their color selection is really lovely.

Are you wearing lip stain here?

    1. Mm I think they work better that they're loose fitting, anything tighter and I'd be venturing into leggings as trousers territory! Some of it is very overpriced, but it's amazing quality and perfect for work situations. Nope, I'm actually wearing a Lancome Rouge in Love lipstick, super pigmented and long lasting! xx

  22. Loving the double zipper effect on the pack - I kind of extra adore how the split means pairing the two items together creates a little cutout effect too. :)
