Glamorous is one of those brands that I've seen floating around the Internet and blogging community for a while, yet had never looked at properly. While, if I'm honest, I probably wouldn't wear a large majority of their pieces, I instantly fell in love with this skirt. Following my recent Ways to Wear post, this has fuelled my inspiration once more, although, er, a graphic T-shirt is hardly inspiring! Paired with simple shoes and my current handbag, I was good to go.
This week sees my work hours shift ever so slightly due to those Olympic things that are coming to London, if Boris hadn't already told you on the Tube. I hate to be that guy who puts a dampener on things, but I already can't wait to be rid of them! Having to catch a train at a casual 6:45am is just not floatin' my boat. What are your thoughts on London 2012? ♥

Dipped hem skirts are so cool! Got myself one last week as well but as the weather's been quite miserable here in Scotland, I haven't had a chance to wear it yet. Yours looks gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteI have yet to see the sun here in Scotland. Pretty much a standard dull Summer here! Love the skirt, you style it so well!

I love this style of skirt, or as a dress too, this one is a gorgeous colour :) xx
ReplyDeleteYou are just THE cutest and prettiest person ever! :D (and how come you look so beautiful with glasses and I look like a goblin in mine?!) x
ReplyDeleteStunning skirt, I love the colour! Wish we would get some sun!

ReplyDeleteOooh I adore your dipped hem skirt, it's such a stunning colour!:) Xx
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of looking forward to the Olympics but I have a load of exhibitions I need to see in the first 2 weeks of August. I can't go at any other time so I have no choice but to battle the crowds!

I've had enough of the Olympics already. My company is a supplier of the Olympics...and OH MY WORD they have been nothing but trouble!!! I know I seem like a negative ninny...but honestly the amount of stress this bloody event has caused me over this past year, I honestly cannot wait for it all to be over! xx
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is such a nice colour! it looks great, love this outfit x
ReplyDelete:O I've never seen you in dip hem dress before! I don't think I've even seen you in a maxi before! You look forgeous as always xx
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is lovely, I like the dipped hem! And the Rob Ryan esque shirt goes perfectly with it. I've never been too fussed about the Olympics, personally. (but then again, they've never been in my city) X
ReplyDeleteDipped hem skirts are my favourite right now, I really like the colour of yours. Ooo I've saw Glamourous knocking around a lot too, I still haven't had the chance to look. I don't mind the olympics (just because I'm all the way up north haha!) but I just think they're the biggest waste of money Britain's ever spent. Oh so political (;

such a beautiful skirt!
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt xx
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is a gorgeous colour. I actually really like the simple styling. Too much fuss would have over-powered that lovely colour and the unusual hem.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty much indifferent to the Olympics. I don't live in London, but I think it's going to be absolute hell for those who do. Good luck with your mega early commute!
Love the colour of that skirt :) Yay for sunshine!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous, that skirt is SUCH a beautiful colour!
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit, it's so fresh and summery! Luckily I am away for the Olympics so I'm not going to be affected by it, I'd be annoyed by the traffic I were still here though for sure.

Miss Michelle, I propose to you (actually I make it a rule now) that you wear this colour more often, because let me tell you, you look absolutely SMASHING DASHING in these photos! and the colour super super SUPER DUPER suits you. Note the capital letters, to emphasise what I am saying! haha.
ReplyDeleteThe bloggers picnic looked amazing (soz too lazy to comment on the other one too!! hah) and I'm so bummed I couldn't make it, looked like you all had a right ole giggle.xx
I love love love your skirt, such a gorgeous colour and I love how you've styled it! You should definitely wear this blue more often because you look fantastic in it.
ReplyDeleteThe Olympics doesn't affect me really but the USA and Jamaican teams are staying in Birmingham and I seem to have had one of the basketball players watching me drink my Starbucks a couple of times in the station before work! Early mornings suck though, I have to leave my house at 6:55 and get the 7:24 train to Birmingham :( xx
i love your skirt! :} xx
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit so much Michelle, you look stunning :) That blue is the most perfect colour against your hair shade :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your train journey during the olympics <3
