Well, it's a been a long time since I ventured back into really-heavy-DSLR-in-handbag territory! This week has felt really... long, and it's been pretty productive too. I'm enjoying my three-day working weeks, and finding plenty of time to put issue two of Aesthetic magazine together, and it finally feels like things are coming together. Y'know it's good when you're a commuter and you have time to paint your nails!

Just a short but sweet post today, as I'm about to head off to London for Lily's birthday picnic with some other bloggers. I'm pretty excited to see Kim and Lyzi as well as to meet birthday girl, Lily, for the first time! It's strange how out of my comfort zone meeting people 'from the Internet' is, yet how much I seem to enjoy a little slightly-nerdy chat with blogging girls. What do you think of the whole blogging dynamic? xo

  1. I hope there is a L'Occitane in my JolieBox - I love the brand, and mine has not arrived yet! Also, jealous of the J Crew order - I've wanted to get something from there for ages, but I've been holding off because I think it will be cheaper in America and I won't have to pay postage if I go to one of their stores in Los Angeles!

    1. It was such a nice day, full of chatter, food and photos! Yup we definitely do, I really want to make use of part-time hours (for now) and spend a weekend back in Southampton over the summer! Haha sorry Rosie, I just can't help myself ;) I think my body is just used to copious amounts of food now, our house has always been very foodie for as long as I can remember! xxxx

  36. Oh my gosh, I'm so glad I've been able to start reading again now that I'm on my mid-sem break. The Gossip Girl novel(s? Is there more than one? I don't even know!) is on my list along with several others... obviously won't get them all done in 4 weeks but there are always other vacations, I guess.
