billet-doux (n.) :- a love letter.Today I'm wearing a dress so floaty and dreamy that it could easily be a cloud in reincarnated, clothes form. Featuring two layers, a black collar, and a dainty little slip underneath, I've never felt so girly in my life! I decided to pair it with my flatforms and huuuge leather Luella tote (still pink, still girly), to add some texture and weight to the outfit: I'm not nearly as girly - style-wise - as I used to be, often opting for trousers and tougher elements. Nevertheless, this is one of my favourite outfits in a long time and as you can see, it's been kitty approved by my frequent feline friend too! (I didn't catnap Bella, btw Tom, if you're reading.)
So, if you follow me on that thing called Twitter, you'll probably already know my exciting news(!!) This week I had an interview for a grown-up job in London, and after a copy test, two training days and an interview, I'm finally employed. I don't want to say too much about it, but I'm an assistant product editor at a luxury childrenswear brand! I'm really enjoying it so far, although my commute is horrendous. I'm getting a lot of reading done though! Currently completely enamoured by Murakami's 'Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World', I'd definitely recommend it if you enjoy his work.
Hope you girls are all doing well! Any exciting plans for the weekend? I desperately want to treat myself but can't seem to find anything to spend my moneyz on! ♥
