Apologies for a solely Instagrammed blog post this weekend, I've been very quiet on the blog front this week, but the somewhat "break" has done me wonders, and I'm very much ready to ease myself back in the swing of things now! A clear mind does wonders for creativity and honing enthusiasm, and sometimes the Internet can get a bit much and overbearing.
I spent most of my week exhausted from a combination of hayfever and commuting - not ideal! I quickly realised that I'm seriously unfit (if any of you saw me sprint for my train on Tuesday, pls keep that info between you and I!) and proceeded to eat all manner of unhealthy goods. I promise that I do generally eat well!
Next week is my final week at InStyle magazine, which is crazy! It's flown by so quickly and I've learnt so much since starting there, I'll be sad to leave. However, my commuting woes won't end there as I'll be starting (properly) at Dicha Jewellery the week after, continuing my pursuit for the elusive entry-level fash pack job. I'm slowly working towards issue two of Aesthetic as well, and on some content for another platform - can't wait to share everything with you when I can! For now though, Happy Father's Day girls and guys, hope you have a lovely day with your families! ♥

That Ben & Jerry's caramel icecream sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteI get really bad hayfever in the spring as well - have you tried anti-hayfever medication? It works really well for me.
Have a good last week interning! How long is your commute?
It was so, so good! Yup, I always use tablets in the summer, but they don't seem to last me the whole day :P I end up deteriorating at about 4pm which is so annoying hahah. The commute isn't too long, about an hour or so during rush hour with waiting around for trains (:
DeleteYour hayfever face is much nicer than mine, I looked terrible this week and felt so bad :(
ReplyDeleteHow do you use the caudalie serum? Are you supposed to wear it under your moisturiser? x
Aw I totally feel your pain, hayfever is the most frustrating thing! I tend to go through worse bouts once in a while, then feel better again for a week or so (: I use mine in place of moisturiser for the day, and underneath night cream in the evenings! xx
DeleteUggggh hayfever is horrible :( Only downside of summer!

Aw thank you Peaches (: I'm excited to start there properly, I've been interning part-time with them since the end of January! Hopefully it'll lead to something more! xx

DeleteLovely instagram photos. Looks like you had a good week! Hope the hayfever gets better.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rae! Got my tablets at hand this week, so hopefully that'll keep it at bay! I keep looking super teary eyed in public, which isn't good.
DeleteI hope you had a lovely weekend sweet! Xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks gorgeous girly, you too!
DeleteLooks like you had a busy and fun week! I hope your final week at InStyle ends out perfect, such an amazing opportunity! :)
