Until I enter the ranks of the working world, this is as good as it gets for me in the print clash realms. A trend that I hadn't really thought much about until I saw the infamous H&M floral print trousers loitering around the Internet, I'm really interested in trying out a few print clashes, perhaps when my wardrobe is all in one place again and I can get a real look at what I have. Long-time readers of my blog will know that I am completely infatuated with heart prints. I grabbed these two pieces out of my wardrobe this morning, and surprisingly really like how the large and small hearts look together, and how the monochrome (although the smaller heart print is pink!) keeps things looking fresh and a little more put-together.
Picked up 'The Lucky One' today after reading a couple of reviews on it over the weekend. Would you believe I've never read a Nicholas Sparks book before? *slaps wrist* I'm yet to see the film, but to be honest, I'm almost certain I'll prefer the novel and don't really want to pay for overpriced albeit ridiculously good popcorn and tickets!
Just a little heads up by the way girls, Ever Ours are introducing a Dress Up box to their online boutique! I'm a huge, huge fan of Ever Ours and their whimsical, Korean and Japanese inspired clothing, so I think it's a great idea, similar to a fashion version of those ubiquitous beauty sample boxes. I know I want one through my postbox! ♥

Thanks Lois, it's actually the bottom half of a playsuit though (:
DeleteI love how this looks! I'm loving right now how big and small patterns look together :). And your necklace is amazing!!!! It makes me wanna kill myself because i saw a very similar one once and i'm still suffering because when i returned for it it was sold out. Yeah, a very important problem there lol.
ReplyDeleteThank you Yona! Mm me too, I'm currently after a paisley floral print shirt, or debating caving for the H&M one, to pair with something striped next (: haha blogger problems indeed! The Ever Ours one is adorable, so affordable too!
DeleteGreat outfit, i love the jacket! Your so inspiring

DeleteLove your bracelet and ring sweetie. I completely agree about leaving the house for something worthwhile! Otherwise it's just not worth the effort haha! Xx
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm never without this bracelet at the moment. I know, I have to save up all of my errands so that I can make a day of it instead of ten minutes here and there :P
DeleteThat necklace is so pretty and I adore the heart print!

Thank you Cara! I feel like such a little girl but it doesn't look childish at all when worn together (:
DeleteLovely photos Michelle. I've read the Lucky One and it's a good read! When I found out the film was coming out I had to read the book first..OCD thing of mine that I can't watch the film before reading the book aha! xx
