Earlier this week, I popped into London for an event in Westfield, and I've only just managed to sit down and sift through the 400+ photos sitting on my memory card. I've been occupied with visiting showrooms and shooting some location editorial for the magazine I'm putting together at Uni. Excuses out of the way, this is what I wore on Thursday, thrown in with some photos from lunch on Wednesday.

(Sheer chiffon tunic, H&M;
Leggings, River Island;
Mint green low wedge peeptoes, Urban Outfitters;
Jacket, Warehouse;
Bag, Zara;
Wooden Ampersand necklace, c/o Maria Allen Jewellery;
Ring, c/o Rock and Rose via Motel Rocks.)

Dug this sheer tunic out from the depths of my wardrobe and fell in love with it all over again. I've had this lurking around since around 2010, proving that the high street isn't just full of wear-once pieces! I think that remains true to most of the clothes I own though: I'm a bit of a hoarder, and foresee that one day my home will be a treasure cavern full of things that I must keep, "just in case". As you can probably tell, I've completely fallen back in love with all things leggings, jeans and trousers. I really want some floral trousers but can't quite decide whether to splash out or not!

I'm currently in the process of styling and shooting some outfits for the Filofax Style-Off Challenge, which is super exciting! Of all of the blog-related styling projects that I've been offered, this has probably been the one that I'm the most - geekily - excited about, I'm sure Bee understands my excitement. Stay tuned for more about that, but this is a teeny snippet into one of the looks I shot.

So, on Wednesday, Mama Daisy and I drove into London to preview the new Sacoor Brothers collection at their London launch in Westfield, Shepherd's Bush. My Mum was so excited to make her event debut, and we both fell in love with the store, but more on that next week, look at our lunch! It was our first time trying Tapas Revolution - we usually opt for La Tasca, by way of tapas! - and it was okay... Not groundbreaking, but it was nice to spend the day together for maybe the first time all Easter break, as tonight I'm jetting off (driving...) back to Southampton for the last time. Eek. Let the chaos recommence.

  2. H&M do some bargain floral trousers at the mo, they're like £12.99 I think. I'm definitely tempted by them, but I think I may opt for some floral leggings - exam season is coming up after all so comfort will be the key factor! x

  19. I love it when a highstreet item sticks around in your wardrobe forever and never gets old. I have a dress I've named "el trusty" that has been going for about 3 years now and I'll be sad to see it's end!
    And I think your food looks rather lovely! Although I'm a tapas virgin : / , off I go now to eat my wasfrozen stew which doesn't compete at all

  30. Aaaah loving the tunic and leggings. I'm falling back in love with leggings and jumpers with this weird spring weather.

    A Filofax styling challenge sounds heavenly, and love your very pretty one too. This really needs to be the year I get back to having a proper diary, and Filofax have some gorgeous ones, loving their updated notebook style covers.
