I'm home! As could only be expected, I took some outfit photos when out for a walk with my sister and really liked how they came out today. The soft focus in the background and mid-lowlight is super pretty, shame about my tired/embarassed face. I think Louise is absolutely a fashion photographer in the making, when she's not grumbling about looking slightly creepy in public and about my posture in photos, that is!

I honestly can't sing enough of this top's praises: I think I've managed to include it at least once in all of my "real life" conversations for the past fortnight! Housemates and pals alike, I hope I've converted you. I threw this on with my old Zara skirt at about 9am in a sleepy haze, on an early morning Glossybox rescue mission to the sorting office, I'd like to think of this as my laidback, Parisian girl look but with about a fifth (potentially even whittling down to a sixth or eighth!) of the easy grace and demeanour that always comes with the Parisian lady lifestyle. "Grace" is definitely not a word that springs to mind when describing myself, and I have the bruises to prove it!

All of that aside, it is so nice to be home and away from the student lifestyle for a bit. Even just a change of scenery has ressurrected my spirits and brought a little of my motivation back! I spent my morning catching up on some documentaries (the Eden and Discovery channels are usually on at all times at home!), shamelessly putting my Uni laundry on and watching our window cleaners have a kickabout with a forgotten football in our garden - how cheeky!

Tonight I plan to have a girly kickback with my little sister with some films. We're making a broccoli and cheese quiche from scratch, with homemade oven-baked chips for dinner, so fingers crossed that we don't burn the house down while the parents are out! What are you lovely ladies and gents up to this evening? Also, let me know if you'd like product reviews on any of my Glossybox Harrods Edition samples!
