daisybutter - UK Style Blog: what i wore, topshop, zara, silk scarf, slip dress, t bar wedges, missguided

If money was no object, this is what I'd wear today to welcome the spring. After seeing Morven and Liv both wear boucle jackets in relatively casual outfits, I've been drawn to them when browsing the high street: I love this coatigan version from Zara, in fact, I'm really enjoying Zara's current stock and if given the chance, I'd do some serious shopping damage in there! I also saw this mix print slip dress in Topshop last week but £38 to drop on a semi-sheer dress is hardly sensible at the moment, I'd pair it with a silk flower print scarf to add my own spin on the Mary Katrantzou 'look of the moment'. Finally, I'm waiting for these Izani suede wedges to come back in stock in my size because they look so perfect! The beauty in wedges is that they can easily be dressed down with some denim, or dressed up with a fit-and-flare dress for the evening.

Tonight I'm off out to a Caribbean restaurant for a meal with some of the Uni girls. Can't stop worrying about work and being just two months away from finishing though! Hopefully I'll feel a bit better after some (more) good food and cocktails! Also, look at my pretty new blog header, illustration courtesy of Philippa at COCOSKIES

  3. I saw this dress in Topshop today. It's as cute in real life, as it is on this photo. The only thing is I wouldn't know what to wear it with so I didn't feel like I was going out in a nightie!

I love the little silk dresses they have in Topshop at the moment, they are gorgeous, there's a yellowish floral one with a drop back hem at the back and it's just beautiful...
