Benefit's Hervana is my new favourite product · Testing out some nail swatch photos and deciding that The Claw is really not for me · It poured down with rain and my New Look suedette slippers didn't survive the journey to and from Uni · Cooked BBQ chicken with sweet potato mash with my housemate · Taking photos for my online portfolio · My birthday meal with the girls at Turtle Bay - so good! · Dressed up as Minnie Mouse for a friend's birthday last night · My makeshift paperstand and working on my dissertation · Lucozade: the juice of final year students · Me on a train last weekend · Rediscovering my Gossip Girl books from 2003!

This week has been such a whirlwind. I've spent most of it cooped up in the library with Lauren working on our magazine project, the other part spending too much money in Zara and H&M and more of it with the girls for various birthday gatherings. I don't take nearly enough photos of my day-to-day life at the moment, sometimes it's better just to embrace the moment and not awkwardly whack my camera out to document the more random moments. A lot of my friends and family probably don't want to put themselves on the Internet for people to see, hence why I probably look like a crazy loner all the time!

I can't believe that there are under two months left in education for me. People throwing out their daily countdowns, etc. until our final deadlines has left me in panic-mode! Nevertheless, I did spend most of my Saturday learning the dance routine for miss A's 'Touch' to a reasonable degree of success, I'm all up to date with stalking Big Bang's Alive Tour videos, our magazine layout templates are completed and I've gone over my dissertation word count already. Result.

Finally, I've updated my sidebar again *points to the right* with some more lovely ladies and shops to have a peruse at, so before you hop out of the door to enjoy the spring sun today, have a click around? All of the blogs featured are blogs that I personally love and follow so you'll be in good hands, I assure you. Right, I'm off to salvage some sun for myself and enjoy the calm before the storm (of another working Uni week, hopefully not a real storm!), have a lovely Sunday!

  1. Ah, Lucozade. I used to drink it before exams with (wait for it...) porridge. Energy in a bowl. Hope you enjoy your sunday xx

  4. I'm a HUGE Benefit blush junkie, but I have yet to try Hervana. However, while I do love some of the Benefit blushes in my collection such as Coralista and Bella Bamba, Sugarbomb is the absolute perfect shade for me!

Also, I totally rediscovered my giant stack of Gossip Girl books last time I was at my parents house - oh the memories!

  5. Uni really flies doesn't it? My uni days seem like years and years ago now...good luck with the last few months! I miss Zara! It's too expensive in HK...

Good luck with your final few weeks at uni. I'm doing a placement so delayed my graduation till next year and it's weird to think everyone is finishing soon.

  7. Aw third year goes so quickly doesn't it? I really enjoyed mine but it passed in the blink of an eye! Love how you've dug out the Gossip Girl books, I was obsessed with those and was so happy when they started the show, still obsessed really! xx

  8. Haha what a crazy combination! I do enjoy a good Lucozade, tempted to run to the shops - not literally - and buy a few bottles to keep me going! xx

  10. Thank you Amy (: good luck for your coursework hand in too, I hate that feeling of having to check work over before it's handed in, makes me a nervous wreck! xx

  11. Ooh I adore Sugarbomb too (: I find Hervana is a little less shimmery with a warmer tone through it if you were interested! Both are lovely but Hervana is a little more highly ranked atm. That's how I rediscovered mine - saw them sitting in my bookcase and I HAD to get them out for a reread! xx

  12. Yup, I didn't believe anyone when they told me but I can't believe it's almost all over. So sad! Ugh I remember :P it's all about the small chain and independent boutiques in HK though anyway. Hope it's all going good out there! I'm currently trying to squeeze in a week of HK or Malaysia before I start work after Uni! xx

  13. Thank you Shenley! Aw that sounds so interesting (: I just want to graduate and get 'out there' a little now, although I'll be sad to see my Uni years go! xx

  14. I can't believe just how quickly it's gone! It's been an absolute whirlwind! Eee me too, I remember reading them in secondary school and fangirling so much when they announced the series when I was at college :P Rereading them has made me realise how much more I prefer the book storylines though! xx

  16. You just inspired me to have a go at the Miss A dance routine myself... I then caught sight of myself in a reflective surface and laughed for about ten minutes. I am NOT a dancer. You should have a go at the routine from the 'Breath' video. There's an adorable knee shuffle thingy in it!
I always forget that GG started out as a book series! By someone with an unpronounceable surname I seem to remember. Lovely pics as always :)

  17. Haha ;) I alr know the Breathe dance! I've danced 'properly' since I was about three or four so I can never resist having a quick choreography sesh! Yup Cecily von Ziegesar ;) thanks Maisy! xx

  23. It was so good, really easy to make too, just oven cook chicken, slice in half and pop bacon in the middle, cover with BBQ sauce and a layer of cheese, oven cook for another 15 minutes. Sweet potato mash is just the same as normal mash (:

  24. Nothing I like more than a good scrapbook! I think I'm done with my first feature, been working on the online CV instead. I'm undecided about writing... def a bad idea to have studied it in hindsight! xx
